Multi-currency

Hi

Just on initial stages of stepping into GNU/Linux.

 

I'm looking for an accounting package that handles multi-currencies 

 

Ie

 

- Retains the exchange rate of a transaction between currencies

- Retains historical exchange rates that were in place for local currency
transactions (could be historical exchange rates versus the 'home' currency
for local currency transactions)

 

so that when reporting in the home currency the historical transactions
(purchases;sales) are converted to the home currency at the exchange rate at
the time of the transaction (rather than using the current exchange rate
that unsatisfactory packages use)

 

Does GnuCash do this?
