Windows and Ubuntu on same system- Ubuntu runs GnuCash?

Ah, that's good.

I'm downloading Ubuntu even as I type.

Man, I hope it doesn't destroy my computer.

I was reading/looking at that asinine book "Linux for dummies" and couldn't
believe what a bad "advertisement" it was for Linux/ubuntu etc.

I'm sure I'll find out.....I hope it's good.  I do perceive that Linux users
are more dedicated to running and controlling their machines than Windows
users.

I do miss the days of DOS.
