does anybody know information on how to get chinese stock into gnucash?

This has come up a couple of times.  I wanted ASX.  For your first stock, 
simply back-space out what is there and type whatever you want in its place.  
It will be saved as an extra alternative for the other stocks.  It doesn't 
even have to be the same as the standard abbreviation for the exchange, 
although that could be convenient.

What really matters is whether these exchanges are recognized by 
Finance::Quote, for online updating, but they should be available through 
Yahoo Finance.  There is a tool for testing that.
