Transaction Notes

The Notes field is a very important part of the transaction. It seems to
be possible to enter (or cheat, and paste!) lengthy notes which are
stored with the transaction, and printed out in reports. However, the
implementation is not without its problems:

1) It is very easy to enter a tranaction Note which is far too long to
view in the register, even in the little window at the bottom of the
screen, and viewing it by scrolling through the text in the Notes field
is very clumsy.

* It would be very helpful if there were some way of viewing long notes
in their entirety. I would suggest either a bubble pop-up invoked by
hovering the cursor over the Notes field, or (slightly clunkier!) an
option on the right-click meny to view the comment in a pop-up.

2) When entering a long Note, there does not seem to be any way to force
a new line into the text, and pasted-in text from eg Excel which does
contain hard linespaces simply produces non-displayable characters.

* It would be *very* helpful, especially given 1) above, if it were
possible to enter a hard newline into text in the Notes column.
