"Saving as" mysql database.

I have gnucash 2.2.9 as my "production system" for my business accounts.
It does everything I require of it very well.
I have installed gnucash 2.3.13 from Fedora 13 on a second bootable hard
drive. My intention is to save my data file as a mysql database and query it
using OpenOffice Base on a read only basis. Eventually I hope to use Sun Report
Builder to produce management reports.
Unfortunately, I have fallen at the first fence. "Save as" only lists xml
as a drop down. I have a working installation of mysql with permissions
granted to me as a user. I have created a database gnucash. I have not
specifically installed libdbi driver.
Please could someone direct me to instructions to getting gnucash to
recognise mysql.
	Thank you.
