I just wanted to confirm the same behavior under Ubuntu 9.10,
including the segfault when trying to print.
I could not find your bug report in bugzilla, but it's likely you may
need to collect more information to help track it down. In Ubuntu you
can use the "Report a Problem" menu option in the yelp / gnome-help
application to initiate an Ubuntu bug report with the version info
attached.
The good news is I think the problem may have already been reported:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yelp/+bug/580206 -- though
as you can see the developers may need people to collect even more
information about the crash (using the valgrind utility, as the
reportbug utility didn't capture what they needed).
On the other hand, I believe the assertion failure errors are not
serious (on my system I only see this twice) --
> ** (gnome-help:4958): CRITICAL **: atk_object_set_name: assertion `name != NULL' failed
it's apparently a GTK bug: see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtg/+bug/475426 and it probably has nothing
to do with the segfault.
