CSV Import

I would like to import my transaction activities that I keep in a spreadsheet
(csv format) into GNU cash, what is the best way to format my spreadsheet? 
Currently I have -> Date, Transaction Description, Amount, Account (cash or
credit) and Category.  Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.
