Classifications or TAGS

Hi

 

Just in case anyone has embarked on the same idea I just wanted to let
interested parties know I have started drafting out requirements for adding
Classifications or TAGS to GnuCash.

 

This is not something I am making up from scratch but will instead draw on
existing reference material (acknowledging as appropriate, of course!)

 

Once drafted I will post to a site where it can be viewed, we can exchange
comments and feedback via this list.

 

If we can get some sort of consensus I will post it as a feature request.

PS if this approach proves a success I will consider doing Future Balance
Forecasting next.
