Balance forecast advice please

Hi

I know there has been much discussion about balance forecasting and
even the suggestion that functionality might be specified and added.

In the meantime I'd be interested in gathering and collating a 'how
to' or FAQ on the subject so please can I  ask everyone who does some
form of balance forecasting especially of their current account to
share how they do it.
