Version 2.3.9 Instalation failure Windows 7 64

I installed in a different directory than 2.2.9 but the program will not stay
open more than 2 seconds. The hint box opens, the flash screen comes up, the
file starts to open and then Gnucash goes monochrome, and I get teh Windows
sotpped working popup, and its over.

How an I help report useful data here?
