Whew!  I'm sorry that I did not make myself clear.  I can't remember the proper name, either the general journal or general ledger.  As I think about it, it may be the general journal page.  A record of entries.  To me, it look like a checkbook register page.  

It is where you first opened an account and a page is created where you enter the date, description, opposing account (manually if needed), and the debit or credit amount.  The balance is automatally created after tabbing the entire line.
