Strugling with Invoice printing

There is no way to change which report is called when you click on the
'Print' button.  What I do personally is just leave an invoice report
open in the configuration I want to use and then when I post a new
invoice I click over to the invoice report tab, click 'options' and then
select the new invoice I just posted.

Sure, just edit the .scm file.

Yes, as others have said, you can search on [matches regex] "." (without
the quotes).
