How to make a "custom" expense report [was Re: Report customization nightmare]

is there a way to select all accounts in a tree by selecting the root? I  
have dozens and dozens of expense accounts, all hanging from Expenses: it  
would be nice to be able to select all of them by just selecting Expenses.
