aqbanking crashes during setup

Hi - I am running Gnucash 2.2.9 on an iMac with Snow Leopard, and AqBanking
is crashing during account setup. I have done extensive googling and haven't
come across the same problem. I suppose a copy of the error stack would be
helpful here, but I'm writing this from work where I use a PC and I can't
replicate the error. 

 

It occurs when I attempt to set up a new 'User' and switch tabs from
'General' to 'OFX'. The AqBanking windows disappear and a message appears
saying that the application quit unexpectedly. I've tried any number of
different paths within the UI and havent' gotten past the error. 

 

Any thoughts? Gnucash 2.2.9 is also installed on a Windows XP virtual
machine on the same iMac, and while accessing the same data file I am able
to successfully run AqBanking on the VM. I'd rather run Gnucash in Mac OS
rather not have to start up the Windows VM every time I want to run the app.
