I'm in the similar situation...Want to use some robust app like
GNUcash (gave up on applications like SimpleInvoices), but not being
Scheme coder, I wanted to learn in order to tweak reports & customize
invoices.
However, as you said, it could be that it is not the best way to spend
one's free time to learn Scheme considering it would be the only usage
of Scheme for my needs.

Yeah, I saw that...Anyway, please share if something appears on the
