Stock split with gnucash 2.3.15

sqlite back-end. Is it me or something else? Here's what I am doing:

Choose Actions|Stock Split...
Click "Forward"
Choose Account. Click "Forward"
Enter date. Type -5 to indicate 5:1 reverse split. Click "Forward"
Click "Forward"
Click "Forward". Even though this is the last screen of the druid, nothing happens. It seems as if there is no handler tied to the last "Forward" button. All I can do is Cancel out.

I've also tried typing 5:1 and 1:5 as the ratio.
