Canadian Hierarchy

Two quick questions. 

a) has anyone developed a Canada specific set of accounts for gnucash? 

b) I downloaded a fr_CA hierarchy, but can't for the life of me figure out
where the files go on my Ubuntu system.  Linux file systems still have me
baffled.
