Ok, this is what I have.

Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Fund

Assets:Banking:Checking Account

In the Assets:Banking:Checking Account I have an entry that looks like this:

                tot Dep tot Withd
Assets:Checking Account
  1,000.00
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash 125.00
Income:Net Salary
                         1,125.00

In the Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash I have an
entry that looks like this:

                   Tot Inceas Tot dec
Assets:Checking Account
     1,000.00
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash 125.00
Income:Net Salary
                          1,125.00

Then......
In the Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash I have an
entry that looks like this:

                   Tot Inceas Tot dec
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Fund 125.00
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash
         125.00

Then in the actual Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Fund

                 shares price buy sell
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Fund 10.15
  1.25 125.00
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Cash
                              125.00

(the shares and price are not correct, used as an example)

I tried to place income accounts in the fund and it did not work correctly
    1. I placed the Income:Net salary account in the bottom of the
Assets:Investments:WealthRUs:WealthRUs 403(b) Fund account and the
income account grew larger.
    2. If I place the Income:Net Salary account on the top line it
won't work correctly.

I tried doing a split directly from the bank account along with the
paycheck (it wanted to convert the USD to fund shares, and that didn't
work)
I tried using all the buttons such as buy, div, int, etc... nothing
made a difference.

I figured out the dividends, they are reinvested in the fund account.
But the matching transaction moves the money to the Income:dividends
income account. (Which grows...)

I'm working on this, but I don't understand how the mutual fund
account register works. What do all the columns and lines mean? I
understand about shares and buy/sell etc.. Why is it always a say
sell at the last section, when I am buying shares or is this the
matching double entry? The guide mentions buying shares from a
checking account, but the images are not correct and it doesn't
explain it very well.

I think once I get this figured out it I would like to work on some
documentation for the help areas to make some of this more clear.

Thanks,

Dennis
