Basic Steps to Upgrade to GnuCash on Lion

Hi All,

I am currently running MacOS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), and GnuCash 2.4.4.

I'd like to upgrade to the Lion MacOS with as few complications as possible.
 My understanding from reading the blogs and bugzilla is that there was some
sort of library problem with GnuCash on Lion.  I see that a library (libiconv)
patch has been created.

My question is what is the best order for me to upgrade. Has the libiconv
patch been included in the latest/greatest GnuCash? If I simply upgrade
GnuCash will I get a version compatible with Lion?
