Use of find to look for certain words in 'notes'

OK. So, now the question is: what version of Gnucash, and what is your operating system?

I recall seeing something like this in an earlier version of GC, but now when I run the Transaction Report, I am given a screen that tells me that no accounts are selected, and to click an onscreen link to edit the options.

By the way--there is a better chance I'll remember what the problem is if you include the history; giving me just your final comment forces ME to look up what your problem was.

Yes but I get "report error" -"an error occurred while running the report"
message.?
