Unsubscribed users are waiting on me to authorise posts.
The actual holdup was the failure of web interface to the mailing list
for some hours - more than 12 and less than 24 is all I know.

If posters want to have their message up earlier, they can subscribe
to the mailing list. They needn't receive the mails - that is a
configurable option.
Of course if the web interface was down, I guess that new subscriptions
were also waiting.
