Nope, that is not correct.  You have the sign backwards.

Equity = Assets - Liabilities + Income - Expenses.

Increasing Income increases Equity.  As does increasing Assets.  So in
your equation it should be:

(Assets-Liabilities)=Equity-(Income-Expenses)
