gnucash-user Digest, Vol 100, Issue 10

A friend solved the problem for me and I thought I would pass along
how he solved it in case someone else may find it useful.
2.4.7 update failed with msgs mostly about inability to access and/or
rename files. He found that many files had been made "read only" so
each time the msg popped up during installation he manually unchecked
the "read only" box in file details. He repeated this about 40 times
then the problem was solved!
