GnuCash 2.4.7 fails to download stock quotes on Mac OS 10.7 (Lion)

The "clip: empty path" message is due to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=655087. That has nothing to do with it. Are there any useful messages in your tracefile [1]? (Ignore all of the warnings about missing actions.)
