2.4.6 gconfd-2 repeated crashes OS X

2.4.5 worked without problem. After upgrade to 2.4.6 I get a window indicating errors loading or saving configuration information, and another window wanting to setup configuration info. Redo setup and get a navigation window where I can open my gnucash file. Dozens of crash reports in Console referencing gconfd-2. Eventually I can make entries and save the document. Quit and next time I start Gnucash I go through the same process again. I can start gnucash from the command line and it throws errors about stale NFS locks and ORBIT but also eventually works after I navigate to the data file. Roll back to 2.4.5 did not work; application will no longer start. Any ideas?
