Hi,

You may also want the stuff in ~/.gconf/apps/gnucash/* too, which I think is 
where preferences are stored by the gconf deamon.

I also have no idea about where you put them on a windows system - how about 
the same place as you are copying them from on the old system? (ie. $HOME)
