GNU Cash installation issue

GnuCash saves the state of your windows when you quit. This state is saved 
separately from your gnucash datafile itself. You can find one file for each 
data file you ever opened in 
c:\documents and settings\<user>\.gnucash\books

For some reason the state file associated with the book you try to open seems 
to have corrupted data. The easiest would be to delete the state file and then 
reopen your data file in GnuCash. Deleting the state file will also cause 
gnucash to forget which accounts and reports were open. So you will have to 
setup those reports again if you had any open.
