Bug just reported:

If Gnucash is closed with an open report tab,  the next time Gnucash is started it should refresh the report exactly as it was when Gnucash was closed, including options changed since the last time the report was saved.  This used to work correctly in 2.2.9

In 2.4.n (tried in 2.4.1 and 2.4.2), if the report is a custom report,  and the report options have been changed but not saved since  the report was started, then when Gnucash is restarted the changed options are lost, and the report  is restarted as it was *last saved*, not as it was when Gnucash was closed.  

If the report is NOT a custom report, but the options have been  changed since the report was launched, then the changed options ARE saved, and on restarting Gnucash the report is refreshed exactly as was when Gnucash was closed.
