balance sheet report missing exchange rate

Hi,
I am using two currencies in my gnucash, one being EUR, the other being
JPY.

When I run the balance sheet report, I get sub-totals for JPY, but none
of my EUR accounts have any totals. After enabling "show exchange rate"
in the report options, I noticed that the report says "Exchange rate:
JPY 1 - EUR" without any figure for EUR.

I do have an exchange rate set in the price editor, so I am at a loss
for solutions.

Anyone have an idea how I could get this report to work?
