Compiling GnuCash 2.2.9 on Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric)?

Hi,

Since I am struggling with posting invoices under 2.4.7 on Ubuntu
11.10, I thought I'd just compile 2.2.9 in the hopes of figuring out
whether there's something seriously wrong with my file, or whether
there's something between the versions, or what.

I managed to install all the dependencies to get configure to work,
but during compilation I get a failure because
goffice/graph/gog-style.h is missing. Old instructions for old
versions of Ubuntu say that you should use libgoffice-0-dev instead of
libgoffice-0.8-dev.

Unfortunately, it does not appear this is an alternative under 11.10,
and searching for the regex gog-style.h in the Ubuntu 11.10 packages
turns up nothing. I do have the -dev package installed, and there's a
header for gog-styled-object.h, but that's it.

Googling this for some time has not yielded any clues about what I can
do to make this go. Any hints?

(I'm aware that the goal would be to upgrade to gnucash 2.4.x, but I'm
trying to get an invoice posted and out before I have to go away later
this week. It's also my business end of year, and I have a bunch of
reports to get out and off to the accountant. Consequently, it's
rather urgent that I get this working. If I'm unable to compile this,
I'll just install a vm and put the older Ubuntu release on it and be
done with it. But I'm trying to do something less awful than that
first.)

Thanks,

A
