I have loaded my account file to a remote web server so I can work from
laptop or whatever.
It is working and I am happy to be able to work anywhere without having to
take the files with me.
I tried to close GC recently, and it collapsed.
I got file lock warnings when I tried to re-open. I know that no one has
another Gnucash session going, so i have no choice but to open it anyway.
What harm can come here, and what can I do on the database to release the
lock file?
I know in XML under windows to delete the LCK file and import the log files
that post date the account.
What is the equivalent in Mysql environment on a remote server.
Does that make sense? Thank, and BTW I am very new to Mysql server use.
