mailing list search has a problem

This is a known problem..  Namazu is no longer supported on Fedora and
they dropped it from the distribution.  We have not tried to re-install
it there, nor have we found an alternative.

One thing that does apparently work:

google.com:   site:gnucash.org <your search>
