Importing Exported Accounts

I used the export feature to get a list of all accounts and want to import
these accounts into a new file.  I'm using version 2.4.7 and cannot for the
life of me find a way to import the chart of accounts I spent time setting
up in a previous file.  I've tried searching the forums and the mailing list
but haven't found anything that is useful.  Everything points to this not
being possible?  Why allow exporting of accounts if you can't import them?
