Feed-in Tariffs

Has anyone got a way of recording energy feed in tariffs?

For years I have just paid the electricity bill, now I have generated
more dollar value than the usage and have a credit. I'm not sure when
the energy company actually pays me, or how often.
So on a single bill I have usage and generation (and some subcategories
which aren't important right now)

I have used $Y and generated $Z. I need to maintain the income in the
accounts - at present it isn't taxed, and has to be considered against
the cost of the solar install in the long term.
I would like to keep a record of what the energy company owes me.


Suggestions please?
