Installing Finance::Quote

Is it possible that the OP has not got the Developer tools or XCode installed? 


I just took 2.4.5 to 2.4.7, and didn't run into any hitches. However, I already had GC running, so maybe the error has to do with not having the groundwork (i.e Developer tools) correctly laid?

Odd. Is your user "authorized to administer the computer"? What's the output of `locate SSLeay.pm`?
