You should not touch the LCK file -- it will go away when you exit
gnucash.  It's used to make sure you don't open your data file twice.
The .log and backup files (the ones with dates) are there to help you in
case you make a mistake and need to "go back in time" to an older version
of your data.  You can delete them, or just let GnuCash delete them for
you.
