python bindings - absolute beginner's questions

Agreed that it seems to provide exactly the information requested.

I recommend using it with the patch at 
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673877 , not so much for the 
usage information but because the unpatched version can be a bit 
irritating in doing "lingering lock" if anything goes wrong.
