Template of Account Tree

Good Day GnuCash Users,

I have a situation where I have an annual event and I would like to 
account for its expenses specifically by unique event name. What I would 
like to do is have a dummy account tree which I could, somehow, merge 
into my overall account structure, renaming the top account of the tree 
each time.

e.g.

Event 2012
     Registration Fees
     Expenses
         Expense One
         Expense Two

Profit/Loss

As an alternative I could set up a separate GnuCash file for each event 
but I would then need some method of including the final balance for the 
event in the overall organization books. I suppose I could always just 
manually post the event results into the main file.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
