Very strange, then. I expect the following in console.log (or system.log if you're running Lion):
4/17/12 7:10:17.799 AM [0x0-0xa92a92].org.gnucash.Gnucash: Don't have write access to /Library
4/17/12 7:10:18.014 AM [0x0-0xa92a92].org.gnucash.Gnucash: Application Path /Users/john/Desktop/Gnucash.app/Contents/MacOS/Gnucash-bin
4/17/12 7:11:20.074 AM [0x0-0xa92a92].org.gnucash.Gnucash: Found Finance::Quote version 1.17
4/17/12 7:11:20.074 AM [0x0-0xa92a92].org.gnucash.Gnucash: ;;; WARNING (gnc:make-report-anchor: No such report: Income Over Time)
4/17/12 7:11:20.074 AM [0x0-0xa92a92].org.gnucash.Gnucash: ;;; WARNING (gnc:make-report-anchor: No such report: Expense Over Time)

And it's really strange that it isn't writing a tracefile.

Try this from terminal:

/Applications/Gnucash.app/Contents/MacOS/Gnucash --logto=gnucash.trace --log="aqbanking=debug" > gnucash.out 2&>1

("Applications" is the name of what you called "Programs". Substitute whatever is right for your system.)

Try doing your import and quit Gnucash. You can either look through the two files yourself or attach them to your reply.

Regards,
John Ralls
