I was able to view gnu2 with Open Office. 
All of the transactions that appear there are incomplete.  GnuCash has
applied them to either Imbalance or Orphan in order to record the
portion that you did provide. 
You also do not need to use the filter in your report, at least for your
first try at viewing the ledger.
