Well, to begin with, we don't sell Gnucash, we give it away. Some other people package it up on a CD and sell that, which is permitted under our license. Since it doesn't cost a lot to do that, I hope you didn't pay too much.

As for not having access, I don't understand what you mean. Could you please describe in detail the problem?
