GnuCash log files still appear

If that's the way it works, I can live with that (though I'd still
rather it just never generated the log files (or at least deleted them
on *exit* instead of on start)).
Also, perhaps the wording of the Preferences dialogue could be amended:
the observed behavior is certainly not what I expected when I selected
the "Never" radio button.
