I, on the other hand, am just now learning Python (currently in the
middle of page 34 of PP4e), but have been a GnuCash user for nearly a
year. That's long enough to have cultivated a burning desire to be
able to script report generation, and to have tripped and fallen all
over the existing Scheme report subsystem. I eagerly anticipate
further responses to your query and hope that I can contribute in some
way, however small.
