NUM and Action field

I posted a similar query to this a while back and didn't get a response.
The set of Actions for our credit card accounts seems to be quite
inappropriate to the purpose (GnuCash 2.4.8 on OS X 10.6.8). The
dropdown list I get has: ATM Deposit, ATM Draw, Buy, Credit, Fee,
Interest, Online, Sell. There's not even a sensible entry for paying the
credit card debt (to me a Credit entry sounds like what I'd used if I
returned goods or had some other reason for a credit from the card
company). I doubt very much whether my credit card provider would allow
me to Sell stuff through the credit card.

Our normal transaction accounts have a much more usable dropdown list of
Actions. One of those accounts also has our debit cards tied to it, so I
get a completely different set of Actions for our debit cards as I have
for our credit cards.

The transaction accounts are Type: Bank and the credit card accounts are
Type: Credit Card.
