Not supplying the correct parameters (source and symbol):

gnc-fq-dump yahoo CSCO
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
    symbol: CSCO                 <=== required
      date: 01/12/2012           <=== required
  currency: USD                  <=== required
      last: 19.15                <=\
       nav:                      <=== one of these
     price: 19.15                <=/
  timezone:                      <=== optional
