Thanks for the info. I'll watch that bug.
For what it's worth (to any developers reading this), this is a pretty important feature to me. Next to basic transaction logging and searching, the principal GnuCash feature I make use of is multicolumn graphical reports. The workaround (clicking on each "single report" link as I want to look at it) is tolerable in the short term, but I look forward to it getting fixed...
