Honestly, none offhand.  I'd have to delve into the code to figure out
why (gnc-default-strftime-date-format) wasn't returning the correct
data.  Perhaps it's getting cached once and never being reset from the
Properties?  I don't know.

For now you'll just have to modify the Report Options to reset it.  You
can always save that as a custom report.
