Status bar error in Accounts Tree window?

Hi

 

I've just downloaded version 2.4.9, done the hierarchy setup, but didn't
enter opening balances at this stage. I've now entered the account opening
balances individually,

but the status bar in the accounts tree window is still showing zero
balances, instead of net assets as expected.  Have I done something wrong?
