quickfill problem at last resolved!

In June 2010, I reported a quickfill problem, which effected me since
my upgrade to 2.2.9 and it has driven me round the bend ever since:

To-day, I found a closed bug report, which describes exactly my

Like the reporter, I am running xfce with the clipboard manager
"Clipman". As soon as I killed Clipman, the quickfill problem
disappeared.

I am now using a different clipboard manager, "Parcellite", which does
not interfere with GnuCash: http://parcellite.sourceforge.net/ 
Another option might be "ClipIt", which was forked from Parcellite and
adds many bugfixes and features to the project: http://clipit.rspwn.com/

dzsunk, if you read this: I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your
bug report after half a year of agony!
