Report export via HTML open by excel

I am running Gnucash 2.4.10 in Ubuntu 12.04. I just tried it again, and it works for me. You might try to remove the $ [I usually do that but it doesn't seem to be necessary].

Don't know why it doesn't work for you. You migh try posting a sample somewhere.
